Amazon Great Indian Sale 2016: Here are some of the best deals that we’ve handpicked just for you

The Amazon Great Indian sale has begun and will go on till 11:59PM on 10 August. This time around, Amazon has added in its Prime membership into the fold as well. Amazon Prime members will be getting access to all the major deals, 30 mins before the deal goes live for all the Amazon users.

The deals are being offered across a wide variety of categories such as electronics, home and kitchen, fashion and much more.

Apart from Amazon Prime users, SBI Credit and Debit card holders will get an additional 10 percent off if they shop via the app or 7.5 percent off if they shop via the website. You’ll have to spend a minimum of Rs 5,000 to avail the offer and the maximum discount is Rs 2,000.

Kindle

Amazon always makes it a point to offer customers a good deal on its Kindle e-book readers during its Great Indian sales. This time it’s no different. The brand new, entry level Kindlehas got a discount of Rs 1,000 and will be selling for Rs 4,999. The Kindle Paperwhite will be selling for Rs 2,000 less at Rs 8,999. The prices for the Kindle Voyage and Kindle Oasisremain unchanged.

Jawbone 

Jawbone’s activity trackers seem to have received a price drop as well. The Jawbone UP2activity tracker is going for Rs 5,999, which is a Rs 4,000 price drop and the Jawbone UP3 is selling for Rs 8,999, which is a Rs 6,000 price drop. But mind you, both these deals will only last 5 hours.

Fitbit

Fitbit is also offering some discounts on its fitness bands. The Charge HR has a Rs 3,000 discount and is selling for Rs 11,999; the Fitbit Blaze smartwatch is being offered for Rs 4,000 off at Rs 15,999; the recently announced Fitbit Alta fitness tracker has a Rs 2,600 discount and the band is selling for Rs 10,399. The Fitbit Charge is selling for Rs 9,199 after a Rs 2,300 discount.

When it comes to deals, it’s the mobile phones category that gets the most attention. So here is a list of mobile phones that are on offer, some of them being offered as Lightning deals, which means that the discounts will only last for a few hours.

• Lenovo Vibe K4 Note is priced at Rs 10,999 (down from Rs 11,499).


• Samsung On7 Pro is priced at Rs 10,190 (down from Rs 11,190).


• OnePlus X (Limited Edition Ceramic) is priced at Rs 18,999 (down from Rs 22,999).


• Acer Liquid Jade is priced at Rs 9,999 (down from Rs 19,999).


• Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is priced at Rs 36,999 (down from Rs 68,500).

JBL

Audio accessories maker JBL is offering a minimum 35 percent discount on its selected products. Among some of the interesting deals are JBL T150A In-ears at Rs 649 (down from Rs 1,799); JBL GO portable wireless speaker at Rs 1,699 (down from Rs 2,999);JBL T250SI on ear headphones at Rs 849 (down from Rs 2,499).
