News for the Week

How was your New Year’s Eve celebration? Alan and I rang in 2017 with a four-night stay at one of our favorite luxury destinations, Triple Creek Ranch, right here in the Bitterroot Valley. The ranch looked beautiful dressed in four feet of snow. I’ll be telling you more about our visit, soon.

Are you staying warm? Here in Stevensville, night-time temperatures have dipped below zero every night this week, a rare occurrence for this part of Montana. As soon as it warms up enough, Alan and I are grabbing the snowshoes and heading to the trails at Chief Joseph Pass. What are your January travel plans? Come on over to the My Itchy Travel Feet page on Facebook to tell us about them or send us an email. We love talking travel with you!

I know it’s a little late, but Happy New Year, everyone! How did you ring in the new year? I was with my Spanish family eating the typical 12 grapes at the countdown. The Spanish tradition calls for eating 12 grapes as the seconds count down to the New Year. It’s actually really hard to eat 12 grapes in 12 seconds!
