Buki Koshoni is a Lagos born, London based visual artist who specializes in photography, filmmaking, and design. His portrait and fashion shoots are characterized by a rich mix of genders and ethnicities. Dealing with bodily aesthetics, sexuality, and the individual characteristics of our personality, Buki Koshoni’s work can be considered as a unique exploration of human culture and condition. Besides his photographic work, the multi talented artist is directing music videos for EMI and Sony Records. Buki Koshoni says about his work: “The subject of individual and cultural identity has always been an ongoing dialog in my personal life, and through my work, I’m able to capture and explore this journey, in a hope to challenge both perceptions and attitudes.”
