Born in California, Brooke Holm is an exceptional photographer who currently lives in New York City. Whether remote places, a well arranged still live or images of interior objects and modern architecture, Brooke Holm’s portfolio combines a fascinating visual language with a unique sense of beauty and abstraction. During her time in Australia in 2016, Brooke has produced an amazing series of aerial shots named “Salt and Sky”. All images below were taken at the salt fields in Western Australia. From the distance, the landscapes look so unnatural, almost like paintings. With different shades of pastels and almost geometric formations, they appear like artificial patterns.
