Scott Disick Ditches Kourtney Kardashian, Hooks Up with Model in Miami

It's been such an emotional roller coaster trying to keep up with the status of Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick's relationship, hasn't it?

One day they're together, the next she's pregnant, they're broken up again the day after that. It's a mess.

Kourtney & Scott Image

Throw in a dash of Justin Bieber and a heaping spoonful of Scott's ongoing addiction issues, and you've got yourself a recipe for disaster.

See, Kourtney and Scott have been having a rough month.

It started when Scott accompanied Kim Kardashian on her trip to Dubai for emotional support, as it was her first official appearance since she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris in October.

During that trip, he went missing for a whole day, and later claimed that he "overslept."

Scott Disick Looks Unamused in a Picture

It was fishy, and Kourtney thought so too, so she let him know. She reportedly went off on him, but sadly, Scott isn't in a position to care too much about what the mother of his children thinks about him.

Shortly after returning home from Dubai, he left again for the Sundance Film Festival, where he allegedly partied hard, booze and all.

Things aren't looking good already, right? Well, hold on, because it gets worse before it gets better.

(Full disclosure: it actually hasn't gotten better yet, so ...)

Scott Disick Stares at Us

OK, so after his bad behavior in Dubai and at Sundance, he went on the family's Costa Rica vacation to make things up to Kourtney.

So that's nice, right? Maybe they're patching things up? Not so fast.

Apparently, Scott left the family getaway earlier, because he was photographed yesterday in Miami, hooking up with a model in a hotel pool.

This guy ...

The model's name is J Lynne, and according to TMZ, she's been telling friends that she just met Scott yesterday and they simply "hung out" all day.

J Lynne

But judging by the photos, it was a pretty intimate hang session: at different points, she had her legs wrapped around him and he was kissing her neck.

It could have been just a one day thing, sure, but if he and Kourtney had any chance at getting back together, that one day could have ruined it completely.

Hope it was worth it, Scott!

Raees vs Kaabil box office collection: With lesser screens, SRK's film races ahead in Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu is a key state in the battle between Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees and Hrithik Roshan’s  Kaabil.

Like the rest of the world, SRK's film has emerged as the winner in the state despite Hrithik film having a dubbed version in Tamil. Tamil Nadu is one of the smallest markets for Hindi films in India, but after the phenomenal success of Aamir Khan’s Dangal, the market has opened up.

A lot was expected from the Republic Day weekend clash between Raees and Kaabil, which had solo releases, as Suriya’s Si-3 was pushed to February 9 due to the Jallikattu agitation in the state.

It was a straight shootout between two Bollywood biggies with the Tamil film industry watching eagerly.

As per sources in the trade, Raees opened in 105 screens on 25 January and netted Rs 2.10 Crore in five days. At the same time Kaabil which had a Tamil dub version opened in 175 screens and is said to have netted approximately Rs 1.55 Crore, during the same period.

A Chennai based exhibitor said: “Raees is the clear winner because it had only a Hindi version and collected more than Kaabil, which had a Tamil dubbed version and more screens. It clearly shows that Shah Rukh Khan is a much bigger star than Hrithik in Tamil Nadu. The Hrithik film would have performed better if it was a solo release. Audiences today, especially in multiplexes, go by social media verdicts and many cannot afford to watch two films the same weekend.”

The star power of SRK enabled Raees to dominate the box-office, though both films carried only average reports in the local media. As pointed out by trade analysts, both the films collections are nowhere near Aamir Khan’s Dangal, which could penetrate across rural Tamil Nadu.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui: Shah Rukh Khan has the daring to do a negative role

Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who was recently seen sharing screen space with Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Raees’, just cannot stop praising the superstar.

The actor says that the best thing about Shah Rukh is that he is not scared to come out of his comfort zone. “What I admire in Shah Rukh the most is that he being a superstar has come out of his comfort zone and has done a dark film like this, which is a rare thing. People (actors) often play safe games (referring to roles and films). Shah Rukh has the daring to do a negative role, it’s a big thing. I admire this quality in him,” Nawazuddin said.

He adds saying that the superstar inspires him. “He is very humble, sensitive and a very understanding person. His thoughts inspire me. It’s a big compliment for me when he praises my work. He is an experienced actor, and an actor of his stature praising me is a big compliment for me,” he said.

Nawazuddin shocked the audience with his entry in the film, where he is seen as Michael Jackson’s impersonator. “It (dance part) was Rahul’s idea and I had to practice it,” he concluded.

The movie also stars Pakistani actress Mahira Khan as Shah Rukh Khan aka Raees’ love interest. It has been receiving amazing response at the box office.

Trump executive order: Google employees’ protest, sends across a strong point

Google is one of the most influential internet companies in the world and part of a tech conglomerate Alphabet. It is also a company whose employees have been quite vocal in their criticism of the executive order that was passed by Trump targetting immigrants. Sure, a lot of tech CEOs raised their voices against the order. We have a whole list here. But in the case of Google, it is not only the CEO, but also a co-founder, former CEO as well as the Google employees themselves, who have made their stand clear over the last few days.

Walking the talk

Pichai in an email to staff said the US ban on foreign nationals from seven Muslim-majority countries will hit at least 187 Google employees.

“We are upset about the impact of this order and any proposals that could impose restrictions on Googlers and their families, or that could create barriers to bringing great talent to the US,” the Wall Street Journal quoted Pichai as saying in the email. “It is painful to see the personal cost of this executive order on our colleagues,” he said.

Google co-founder Sergey Brin, whose family immigrated to the US in 1979 from the then Soviet Union, took part in the protests taking place at the San Francisco international airport. While protesting in his personal capacity, Brin said that he was protesting because he himself was a refugee.

Recently at a meeting with Google employees, Eric Schmidt, the executive chairman of Alphabet said “that the Trump administration is going to do evil things as they’ve done in the immigration area and perhaps some others.” Schmidt did say that the government is focussed on economic growth in his meeting with employees. He said that these ‘evil things’ will be done while keeping the focus on the growth rate in the US by increasing federal spending.

According to reports, there were about 2000 employees participating in the protest on 30 January, and these included Google top brass like Sundar Pichai and Sergey Brin, both of whom are technically immigrants.

Google has also set up a $4 million fund for immigrants. This fund includes $2 million contributed by Google’s own employees. All things point to the fact that Google employees, while not in the official capacity, are taking a political stand by their actions and gestures.

Wooing the Republicans

It is no secret that Google backed Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton during the Presidential elections. But the company has since been trying its best to get into the good books of the Trump administration as well. According to Bloomberg Google had sought a ‘DC veteran to act as liaison to conservative, libertarian and free market groups’.

Image: Reuters

However, Google / Alphabet have made it public whenever it has met with Trump. For instance, when Trump met with the top tech CEOs from Silicon Valley, Larry Page was present. More recently, even Eric Schmidt had met the president at the Trump Tower. According to Buzzfeed, Google states that it was better to work behind the scenes with the administration, rather than making statements which would antagonise people from the administration with whom Google / Alphabet has to work.

Schmidt has also stated to his employees that he did all he could in his power to dissuade the administration from taking an anti-globalisation and discriminatory stand on the immigration order, but nothing has come out of it.

AP

Pichai has also tried to explain why it is counterproductive for Google as a company to take a stand officially. In a statement to Vice News, Pichai said, “If you publicly take a strong position, once they’ve identified you’re completely on one side, you lose the ability to come to a rational position. We get very strong reactions when we try to reach out to the other side. Taking public positions is productive in some cases, and counterproductive in others.” According to a New York Times report, Google also recently organised an event for Republican lawmakers.

Treading a fine line

While on the one hand Google and Alphabet employees are protesting against the controversial executive order, on the other hand, it is trying to be in the good books of the Trump administration as well. In doing so, Google and its parent company Alphabet are trying to find a right balance between its employees putting forth a resistance against unfair orders, at the same time not antagonising the government in the official capacity.

At the end of the day, a lot of Google and Alphabet’s projects require government co-operation. So it is treading a path which any profit-making institute would take.

Targetting immigrants from certain nations based on religious lines, specially when a lot of the top US companies have been built by immigrants, smacks of arrogance. It is then heartening to see employees of the Silicon Valley tech giants taking to the streets to protest against this unfair executive order.

Whether the companies or its employees would be punished for these protests, is something only time will tell. But if there are penalties to be paid, then that would set a wrong precedent.

Disha Patani: There is a big risk of being slut-shamed in case relationships don’t work

More than her debut performance in the film ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’, Disha Patani has been in the news for her alleged love relationship with Tiger Shroff. They have often been spotted together and have been linked to each other since the beginning. But like the norm goes, they have tried to hide their relationship under ‘We Are Just Good Friends’ tag for like forever. Though they do not refrain from accepting that they are close to each other, but they do not openly confess that they are dating.

Once again, Disha has commented on her relationship with Tiger and has said, “Frankly, I am boring. My life is all about the film set, gym classes and home. I have never asked Tiger whether he wants to talk about his life. When people ask me, I say no. I never hide anything or stop people from asking about Tiger. I am not shy about my personal life. Yes, Tiger and I are close. We are good friends, obviously. There is nothing special about going for parties or catching up for a meal with friends. I understand this (gossip) is part of the profession. Of course, there is a big risk of being slut-shamed in case relationships don’t work. We are actors; we can never be free (speak freely). I have to think a thousand times before I speak. If I am myself and end up saying one wrong thing, there will be 1,000 negative tweets about me. There is no rule that you have to be open about relationships. To each his own.”

Talking about her films, Disha is awaiting the release of her International film ‘Kung Fu Yoga’. It stars the legend Jackie Chan and Bollywood actor Sonu Sood.

In the teaser of the episode, when Karan Johar asks Sania as to, “Where is Sania Mirza in my life? I need to be Sania’s friend,” Farah immediately warns Sania, “But, he will become your friend only because you are world’s number 1, I hope you know that.”

To this Sania asks, “Is that why you haven’t called me on Koffee till now?”. And Karan said, “I was waiting. As soon as you turned number 1, you got a call.”

Bigg Boss 10 winner Manveer Gurjar: 'Salman is a desi banda who'll give the right advice'

When ‘notorious’ Noida boy Manveer Gurjar entered the Bigg Boss 10 house, his boorish demeanour and violent streak raised doubts about his ability to be a sensible and prudent player. But as the days passed, one saw a complete makeover in his behaviour, and it was his tenacity, simplicity, attitude, loyalty and hunger to win every task that made him the most admired contestant of the season — so much so that the 29-year-old ‘Indiawala’ walked away with the trophy after giving tough competition to VJ Bani.

“Honestly, I hadn't thought about it at all. I had never imagined this, it has happened without any sort of expectations. If I have won then perhaps I have done something good. But jis raaste se mein ja raha tha, the support and the votes I was getting, I realised that I was doing something right. It was only half-way through that I started thinking about winning the show,” said Manveer, holding his heavy trophy and mischievous glint in his eyes, meeting with Firstpost immediately after his win was announced in the two-hour plus grand finale aired on Colors TV on Sunday night (29 January).

“I entered and contributed to the show as a commoner and I don’t have any feeling of a celebrity. Maybe that feeling will sink in when I go back to my hometown,” Manveer added.

Time and again he lifted the trophy for pictures and despite the pain in his right shoulder, never once did he stop smiling. Recollecting his winning moment, Manveer said, “On one side was Bani and on the other side was me, with Salman standing between us. That feeling was simply great. Even if I had lost to Bani, I would have felt that I got lesser votes because Bani has a bigger fan following. But now that I have won, I feel my supporters overpowered her fan following and I thank all those supporters.”

“When I went inside the house I was a different person," Manveer admitted, looking back over his journey. "I was short tempered and people were really scared of me — which was quite apparent in the first week. Salman Khan also pointed out that to me. I thought if I am going to stay in the house with the same attitude as I was outside the house, then I won’t be able to survive and I decided to go on the backfoot. I played more with my heart than my mind. I feel as if an entire makeover of my personality has happened after coming out of the Bigg Boss house.”

He further said, “When I walked inside the Bigg Boss house, my only aim was to mend my broken relationships and show the world who the real Manveer is. Each day in Bigg Boss, I strove to achieve this goal. Today, as I hold the Bigg Boss trophy, I cannot help but recollect every single day that I have spent inside the house — every task, every circumstance.”

Manveer valued everything that Bigg Boss offered him. His chemistry with Manu and Mona Lisa set new benchmarks of friendship, and proved that relationships fostered on a reality show can last a lifetime. Not only did Manveer live through the challenges but he also managed to repair his relationship with his father.

Initially, for first few weeks, Manveer was not seen as confident and depended heavily upon his buddy Manu Punjabi. So what changed? What was the turning point for him?

“Going inside the house and isolating oneself is very very easy, but for me to live life, I think it has to be shared with somebody. There was that bonding between Manu and me and I didn’t have any problem taking suggestions or advice from Manu. Walking in Manu’s shadow didn’t make any difference to me. But the day I saved Manu from nominations by shaving off my beard, the same day I landed in trouble because the other person didn’t save me. I finally realised that if this game will continue like this, then I will have to play smart. For the first couple of weeks, my co-contestants felt I was a strange personality, and at that time I needed somebody’s support. Manu had some experience as he had already done a show, he knew how to play in front of the camera. But though I listen to others, I eventually listen to my heart. Then I decided to play the way I wanted to, and I came to know that I was being appreciated outside. So if people liked me the way I was, then why should I hold somebody’s hand? Further, my father wanted me to pull together my act.”

While Manveer takes back many good memories from his stay in the Bigg Boss house, he would like to go back and change one thing in the house — the food scene. “I was quite rattled by the food rationing. I got to know about it only once I was inside the house. People were hiding eggs, rice and other food items! I wish they sent food from outside so that this doesn't happen.”

Among his memorable moments, he counted: "I will certainly miss the voice of Bigg Boss, the way he would call us in his booming tone... I will remember our interactions in the bedroom, time spent in the living room, activity room and then all those tiring tasks. Then, when I was fighting for captaincy with Gaurav, I slipped and fell with my head hitting the floor. I got five stitches for the same but I continued. And I will never forget the task towards the end — the 'Bungee Cord' — that brought me to the finale when we were tied to the harness. I held myself in place for over four hours while facing many rough and tough situations but eventually I got good results."

Of course there were certain unfortunate events too that Manveer would like to permanently erase from his memory — especially the presence of Swami Om and Priyanka Jagga, who were shown the exit door of the Bigg Boss house for their obnoxious behaviour. “In the beginning, we couldn’t gauge what kind of people Swami Om and Priyanka Jagga were, until we started interacting with them. And when we saw the real side of these two, things had gone out of our hands. Both left the house on a very bad note and I feel bad because like us, they were categorised as commoners. Here I have won the show but they disrespected and were made to leave the show,” said Manveer.

And if there is one more person who the winner feels didn’t deserve to be in the house, that is the television actor Gaurav Chopra. “That's because there were a lot of expectations from him. Even in the show, both of us had problems with each other and they never got cleared. I think he was conscious about his image and did not give much to the show — he remained an actor," said Manveer, adding that he would want to stay in touch with Manu, Mona, Nitibha and Lokesh. Also on the anvil — growing back his beard!

Manveer is now chalking out his future plans, and he is very clear that he wants to continue entertaining people. “That can happen only if I enter the profession of acting. I would like to take up anything that would suit me and my personality. I would like to get into movies or television, but never politics. When I asked Salmanji, what I should do, he said, 'Do whatever you do want to do man!' So I would like to shift to either Delhi or Mumbai and I will also bring my father along,” said Manveer.

And what has Manveer decided to do with his prize money of Rs 40 lakh? “I have already handed over the money to my father, my family, and we have decided to donate 50 per cent of the amount to Salman’s charity. Let my family decide what they want to do with it, now it is all their money,” said Manveer, who was feeling extremely anxious and curious about attending Salman’s after party for the present and past contestants. And about his bonding with the show host, he said, “Salman’s large-heartedness is something I could relate to and hence I kept addressing him as ‘Ji Bhai’. I felt he was a desi banda who wouldn’t cheat but always give me the right advice.”

Akshay Kumar's Republic Day idea: An app to help families of martyred soldiers

It was in October 2016 that Akshay Kumar had posted a message in support of jawans an their families, post-Uri attack. While public discourse had been taken over by the issue of whether or not cultural relations with Pakistan should be boycotted (most stridently, in the demand for the ouster of Pakistani artistes from the country), Akshay posted a video on social media that asked people to focus on the real issue: providing succour to the families of those soldiers whose lives had been lost in the terror strike at Uri.

Now, in the run-up to Republic Day 2017, Akshay has put out another video that indicates he wishes to walk the talk. The Rustom actor has proposed the creation of a mobile app and website that can help in delivering much-needed financial aid to the families of martyred Indian soldiers. The app will allow donors to directly pay an amount of their choice into the verified bank account of the departed soldier's next of kin.

Akshay began his video message with a disclaimer: "This idea is directly from my heart. May be it is useless or can be a big hit."

He then explained his concept:

"I think that our country should have a website or a mobile app which directly connects the kin of martyred soldiers and the people who want to extend help to them. This website will host a list of the names of the martyrs, along with the bank account numbers of their close ones — mother, father or wife. And if someone wants to help that jawan's family financially, they can directly make a contribution into their accounts. That account number will be deleted once the total deposited money accounts to Rs 15 lakh. By this, family members of the martyred soldiers can directly use that money."

Akshay asked his fans for suggestions on fine-tuning the idea, adding, "With the permission of the Indian Armed Forces, I myself will anchor this mobile application and website."

In recent times, Akshay's image has increasingly been linked to that of the 'patriotic superstar', with his onscreen oles and offscreen endeavours.

Raees movie review: Career best for SRK and a commercial entertainer (in a good way)

On my way to the press screening for Raees, I happened to cross the Paradise theatre, an old single screen in the suburb of Mahim. Next to its dusty facade was strung up a poster of the film, Shah Rukh Khan’s face looming large over much of it, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, backed up by several other cops, smaller figures in the background.

The preview that had been organised for the press couldn't have been held at a more different venue than the Paradise: we were at Le Rêve right in midst of Bandra’s swish Hill Road; the theatre itself goes in for a pretty Baroque decor, with crowds of roses clashing with Victorian-style gaslight fixtures all making for a fairly surreal setting. But here too, a poster of Raees had Shah Rukh Khan looking larger-than-life positioned strategically by the gate, enticing audiences within.

This tale of two theatres indicates what Shah Rukh Khan has attempted in Raees: he's wooing the multiplex audiences who have always been fans of his suave, urbane persona, yes; at the same time, he's also reaching out to the single screen moviegoer with his most ‘massy’ film in recent years.

And make no mistake, Raees is the quintessential commercial entertainer. It is to the credit of its director Rahul Dholakia (Parzania, Lamhaa) and its leading men Shah Rukh Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui that Raees is also so much more.

Raees is set in the Gujarat of the 1970s and ‘80s, when Prohibition has been in effect for well over two decades. It narrates the story of Raees Alam (Shah Rukh Khan), in whom the famed entrepreneurial spirit of the Gujaratis takes a turn that runs contrary to the letter of the law.

We start off with Raees as a young child, who serves as a runner for a bootlegger. In school, he has trouble reading the board; he is given a pair of spectacles. The glasses give him his vision back, they also give him a violent aversion to being referred to as “battery”.

Raees is affected by one particular incident — when he is upbraided by a policeman for warning an establishment selling illicit liquor of an impending raid, his mother steps in to save him. The cop ridicules Raees’ mother for being a ragpicker, she tells him, “Koi dhanda chhota ya bada nahi hota, aur dhande se bada koi dharm nahin hota” a thought that impresses her son greatly. He decides that he will get into the liquor business himself, but not the cheap desi daru one — he is going to go the whole hog with imported spirits. For this, he signs up to be a runner for Jayraj Seth (Atul Kulkarni) — the first one to ever observe of Raees: “Baniye ka dimaag aur miyanbhai ki daring”.

We see Raees grow into a young man, determined to set up his own business rather than serving as a lackey to anyone else. This is easier said than done, of course. And so the stage is set for Raees to outwit not just his contemporaries in the business, but also the law.

The law here shows up in a particularly challenging way in the person of Inspector Jaideep Majumdar (Nawazuddin Siddiqui), an honest, upright, unflappable (if eccentric) officer.

Shah Rukh Khan as Raees Aslam in a still from Rahul Dholakia, Excel Entertainment and Red Chillies Entertainments' 'Raees'

It is perhaps a sign of how vital this antagonistic but oddly respectful relationship between Raees and Majumdar is to the plot that Nawazuddin’s ‘entry scene’ is filmed with as much style as Shah Rukh’s himself. (He appears — to great effect — as a Michael Jackson impersonator!) Not even Mahirah Khan, who plays Raees’ love interest and later, wife, is given the same kind of entrance.

By halfway point, we have Raees as the leading figure in the illegal liquor business in his part of Gujarat, firmly in Majumdar’s sights, and having descended into a spiral of shocking violence that he hasn't anticipated committing.

A note on the violence itself: this is no stylised, sanitised action. It is brutal, bloody, and very physical. The violence reaches a crescendo with Sunny Leone’s ‘Laila Main Laila’ song — an oddly operatic soundtrack to Raees’ most violent act yet.

Raees is motivated primarily by the profit motive, he is not a sadist — although he isn't averse to using violence when the situation demands it. But he is also endearing, especially in the moments reserved for his wife and his closest friend (Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub). Even in his arrogance, he is appealing.

The second half builds on this other side of Raees Alam: the Robin Hood do-gooder sort, who earns the goodwill of the poor with his charitable deeds. The frenetic pace of the plot so far slows down a bit as we spend some time getting to know Raees, the man. By a twist of fate, this is also the time when Majumdar (Raees’ old nemesis) is getting to know the gangster he’s been on the tail of so far. The connection between the duo is depicted cinematically: when Raees wishes for some chai, it is Majumdar, far away, who reaches out for his cutting glass.

Raees’ trajectory is very similar to that of Pablo Escobar (as seen in the Netflix series Narcos; or even in any of the other gangster flicks director Dholakia has said he was inspired by, such as Godfather and Scarface. Surprisingly, Raees' approach also reminded me of Abhishek Bachchan in Guru, delivering this monologue: 'Sarkari darwaze the yeh aap ke banaye hue. Ya to laat mar kar khulte the ya ji hazoori de ke. Maine dono kiya, jahan laat mar sakta tha laat maari, jahan bola salaam do maine bola salaam lo'). He comes from nothing, rises to dizzying heights, but discovers that it is when you reach the top that you must face the biggest hurdles.

Raees realises this when he is let down by his collaborators in the government; he now decides to wrest the power he does not have yet — political, and contests elections. You can't help but know that his rise cannot go unchallenged. Soon enough, his troubles are beyond his powers to fix — be it in terms of money, muscle or wit.

Before we reach the end though, there are plenty of twists and turns — betrayal, defeat and widespread death.

There is a circularity to the story and dialogues as Raees races towards its finis. It also gives a chance for Shah Rukh Khan to deliver what is by far the most crowd-pleasing dialogue of them all: “Dhanda mera dharm hai, par main dharm ka dhanda nahi karta.

What a fine, fine performance this is by Shah Rukh Khan — possibly a career best. And what a fine, fine film this is by Rahul Dholakia. Its triumph is that it brings the best of ‘Bollywood’ — the sheer entertainment and glamour and scale of it — to a gripping story. What it's attempting is most evident in a scene where Raees (Shah Rukh) is juxtaposed against an image of Amitabh Bachchan in his 'angry young man' avatar on a movie screen. That one quick clip speaks volumes. Which brings us to the cinematography of KU Mohanan, without which, Raees would not be such a visually rich experience.

Shahid Kapoor woots for his brother Ishaan Khattar as latter makes his cinematic debut

For long, we have been anticipating the Bollywood debut of Shahid Kapoor‘s little brother Ishaan Khattar. The young lad, who is as good a dancer as his brother and has all the elements to be a superstar, was apparently in the talks with filmmaker Karan Johar for his debut film, but nothing had been confirmed. Post this, we were informed that Ishaan has been roped in by Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi for his film ‘Beyond the Clouds’. The launch of his film was held yesterday and being a doting brother, Shahid came out to support Ishaan.

Sharing a sweet picture with Ishaan, Shahid revealed that his younger brother is ready to fly.

Not just Shahid, the producer of ‘Beyond the Clouds’, Shareen Mantri Kedia too has full faith in Ishaan. The producer was quoted saying, “He (Ishaan Khattar) is a superb actor, was amazing in his look test and suits the character Mr Majidi was looking for. Ishaan will play someone deeply connected to the ground and to the city.”

We are so excited to see Ishaan shinning with flying colours as he makes his debut. That day is not far when Ishaan would romance and show off his acting prowess in Bollywood films just like his brother.

Talking about ‘Beyond the Clouds’, we may see Deepika Padukone playing a pivotal role in this film. She had given a look test for the same, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

Brielle Biermann Rocks A Thong & Puts Kardashians In The Shade With Sizzling Belfie

It’s a battle of the booties! Kim Zolciak’s daughter Brielle Biermann is ready to take the Kardashian throne, posting a sizzling photo showcasing her posterior Jan. 21. The young star rocked a thong bathing suit, putting on a jaw-dropping display!

Brielle Biermann, 19, knows how to turn heads. The starlet shared an eye-catching photo that showcased her curvaceous behind on Jan. 21, making it appear as though she’s trying to give Kim Kardashian a run for her money. Wearing a leather thong bathing suit, she put her booty cheeks on full display while arching her back for the camera. Brielle was posing seductively in front of a mirror, rocking tousled locks as she captured a quick belfie (butt selfie). She’s totally not shy, even turning around to flaunt major cleavage in the high-cut one piece with lace-up sides.

Interestingly enough, Kim Zolciak also shared a similar snap earlier, before heading to the beach. Her mom Kim, 38, flaunted her own impressive physique, rocking a patterned bikini with her blonde tresses pulled up into a chic up ‘do for her sexy Snapchat photos. The Real Housewives Of Atlanta stunner was gearing up for some fun in the sun with her husband Kroy Biermann. It’s clear the mother-daughter duo has plenty in common, as they last captured fan’s attention with their matching plump pouts and massive cleavage at a New York event Sept. 12.

Kim and Brielle have been vocal about their cosmetic enhancements, showing off their lip injection procedures at Dr. Simon Ourian’s Beverly Hills office. Kim had breast implants, a tummy tuck and even injections to her butt to remove cellulite. It looks like these two are giving the Kardashians some major competition, and we’re guessing this is only the beginning of the sexy selfies!

Melania Trump Stuns In Off-The-Shoulder White Gown For Inaugural Ball

Melania Trump is officially the First Lady of the United States & she looked drop-dead-gorgeous at the Inaugural Ball on Jan. 20th, in Washington, D.C. Melania has amazing style, so we’re not surprised she appeared in this gorgeous gown! What do you guys think of her look?

Melania Trump, 46, stole the show at the Inauguration Ball in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 20th. Melania, our new First Lady of the United States, has been on a roll during this Inauguration weekend and we’ve been loving all of her outfits. She arrived at the ball in this gorgeous gown, though, and we are freaking out because she looks so beautiful.

As if anything could top Melania’s blue Ralph Lauren ensemble from Inauguration day, or her custom-made Reem Acra gown for the pre-Inaugural dinner, she wore this gown. She looked unbelievably gorgeous in her skin-tight, long-sleeve sequin gown for the dinner, but the gown she wore the ball is just stunning.

We are dying over Melania’s insanely gorgeous, off-the-shoulder white gown by designer, Hervé Pierre, Carolina Herrera’s former Creative Director. The gown features stunning ruffles on the bodice. Around her waist was a very thin red ribbon bow belt that highlighted her amazing figure and on the side of her leg was an insanely plunging slit that showed off her fabulous legs.

Ever since Donald Trump’s, 70, inauguration weekend started, Melania has been in a ton of gorgeous outfits. From her military coat at the welcome concert to her gorgeous gold sequin Reem Acra gown at the pre-Inauguration dinner, to our favorite outfit of all time from her, her gorgeous blue Ralph Lauren dress and matching bolero coat which she wore to the Inauguration.

Rishi Kapoor: Amitabh Bachchan didn’t give due credit to the actors who have worked with him

Rishi Kapoor recently released his autobiography ‘Khullam Khulla: Rishi Kapoor Uncensored’, in which he has spoken in open about his family, films and competition.

The actor who is known for his honesty took a dig at Amitabh Bachchan through his book stating that Big B never gave credit to other actors who shared screen with him.

In his book, Rishi mentions, “To go back to Amitabh, I must confess there is still a lingering issue I have with Amitabh Bachchan. A big disadvantage of working in an all-star movie in those days was that everybody only wanted to make action films, which automatically meant that the star who could carry off action with the most flair would get the meatiest part. That’s how, with the exception of ‘Kabhi Kabhie’, which was a romantic film, none of the multi-starrers I featured in had an author-backed role for me. Directors and writers unfailingly reserved their strongest, pivotal roles for Amitabh Bachchan. And it wasn’t just me. Shashi Kapoor, Shatrughan Sinha, Dharmendra, Vinod Khanna faced it too.”

He added, “Amitabh is undeniably a superb actor, immensely talented and, at the time, the number one star who ruled the box office. He was an action hero, the angry young man. So roles were written for him. Although we may have been smaller stars, we were not lesser actors. Yet, the rest of us had to constantly measure up to him. We had to work hard, really exert ourselves to match up. In my time, the musical/romantic hero had no place. Amitabh was an action hero in an era of action films. As such, writers gave him the lion’s share and he had the author-backed roles in almost all his films. This gave him an advantage over the rest of us who had to make our presence felt with whatever we got.”

He further wrote, “But this is something that Amitabh has never ever admitted to, in any interview or book. He has never given due credit to the actors who have worked with him. He has always credited his writers and directors, Salim-Javed, Manmohan Desai, Prakash Mehra, Yash Chopra and Ramesh Sippy. But it is also true that his co-stars had an undeniable role in his success. Shashi Kapoor in Deewaar (1975), Rishi Kapoor in Amar Akbar Anthony and Coolie or Vinod Khanna, Shatrughan Sinha and Dharmendra all contributed to the success of his films where they shared credit with him, even if in secondary roles. This is something no one has realized or acknowledged. But it was the way things were and we accepted it gracefully.”

Lets see weather Amitabh reacts to this or not.

Start the New Year Out Right With These Cold Weather Trips

If you’ve been following the My Itchy Travel Feet page on Facebook or our Instagram account, then you know how much Alan and I enjoy traveling on cold weather trips. We’ve even dedicated a Pinterest board to winter travel. Why are we such big fans of cold and snow? Because it’s a great way for active boomer travelers to jump start those New Year’s fitness goals. And did you know that spending time in nature during the winter relieves holiday stress?

You give, give, give in December — to friends, family and those in need. January is a time to give back to you, in a healthy way, of course. Embrace winter — rather than fighting it — on a cold weather nature trip that includes plenty of active travel options. That’s what Alan and I do. Need a few ideas? Read on.

Go Snowshoeing in Montana

You can snowshoe anywhere there’s snow and a trail. It’s not as expensive as downhill skiing, plus there’s less chance that you’ll break a hip or blow out a knee. Check out Trails.com map to discover U.S. snowshoe trails near you. Dress warmly, then snowshoe into the forest for quality quiet time. Stopping in a snowy landscape to listen to a bird flitting through the trees or straining to hear snowflakes settle onto the ground is a natural stress reliever. And just think off all the holiday calories that snowshoeing will burn off.

3 cold weather trips for the active boomer traveler.

A bluebird day at Lolo Pass.

You’ll find plenty of snowshoeing opportunities on a trip to Montana. But we think the Bitterroot Valley offers two of the best trail systems in the state. You’ll find groomed trails on Highway 12 at Lolo Pass on the border of Idaho and Montana. Or drive south on Highway 93 to reach the premier trails at Chief Joseph Pass. Both areas offer snowshoe, cross-country ski and snowmobile trails.

Make the trip even more relaxing by staying at a cabin in the Montana woods. For a luxurious cold weather trip that you’ll never forget, stay at our favorite — Triple Creek Ranch in Darby — ranked #1 hotel in the world in the 2014 Travel & Leisure’s World’s Best Awards. Tucked away in the wooded foothills of the Bitterroot Mountains, these luxurious cedar cabins provide an all-inclusive ranch resort experience with any winter activity you care to experience. Ride horses in the snow, go dogsledding or skijoring (skiing behind a horse), make use of complimentary snowshoes or cross-country skis for exploring on-property. And the groomed trails of Chief Joseph Pass are just a short drive away. Downhill skiing is available at Lost Trail Powder Mountain, across the highway from Chief Joseph.

Wildlife watching is part of the fun on a cold weather trip.

An elk poses at Triple Creek Ranch.

Watch wildlife in Yellowstone National Park

Did you know that winter is the best time to watch wildlife? Animals have relocated to lower elevations looking for food. And leaves are off the trees making it easier to spot deer or maybe a fox. Spending a day snowshoeing or hiking to watch wildlife will slow down your harried pace bringing relaxation with it.

A winter trip to Yellowstone National Park to see elk, bison or wolves on the prowl is on our bucket list. And, unlike summer, we won’t be there with thousands of other visitors. Alan and I are planning a short winter getaway that begins in Gardiner, Montana, on the north edge of Yellowstone. We’ll spend a day driving through the Lamar Valley to watch for wolves before ending up in Cooke City, where we’ll build in an extra day in the itinerary for a snowmobile tour. Then we’ll travel back through the Lamar Valley for another day of wolf watching before heading to one of our favorite Montana getaways, Grey Cliffs Ranch.

If you’re planning to visit Yellowstone in the winter, tour companies depart for the Lamar Valley, America’s “Serengeti,” from Yellowstone’s North Entrance at Gardiner, Montana, or on a snowcoach excursion from the Old Faithful Snow Lodge on the park’s west side. Mammoth Hot Springs, also on the north side of the park, is another option, however the hotel is closed for renovations through 2017. The remaining hotels in Yellowstone National Park close from October to May, but accommodations can also be found in the town of West Yellowstone.

Book winter accommodations at Old Faithful Snow Lodge or Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel at least a year in advance. The season is short and park lodging is limited.

Search for Alaska’s Northern Lights

Is photographing the mesmerizing colors of the northern lights on your bucket list? Raising our hands high here. It takes patience and quiet waiting to check this special occasion off the list. And it’s just the sort of winter activity to inspire and rejuvenate an enthusiasm for life. While northern lights are visible in many locations in the northern U.S. and Canada, seeing them in Alaska is the way that Alan and I want to experience this extra special light show.

Our future plans call for riding the Aurora winter train from Anchorage to Fairbanks. We’ll headquarter sixty miles northeast of Fairbanks where Chena Hot Springs Resort offers aurora watching and afternoon geothermal energy tours. Jumping into the soothing hot springs to warm up is also a natural way to relieve stress or ease sore muscles after a day of snowshoeing or cross-country skiing.

The next time you give an involuntary shiver thinking about winter’s cold, remember that the relaxation and nature connections on cold weather trips are good for you. Plus there’s no better way to start accomplishing those new year’s fitness goals than by playing in the snow. Who knows? You might just see us on one of your cold weather trips.

Feel bad for using a duplicate in ‘Raees’, says Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan and injuries go hand in hand. Unfortunately, the superstar suffers so many setbacks while shooting for his films that sure gets physically taxing for him. Knowing the dedicated soul that he is, SRK prefers to do major stunts on his own, but for his upcoming film ‘Raees’, the superstar had to make use of a body double as he was not physically fit to carry out some stunts.

During the promotional interviews of ‘Raees’, Shah Rukh Khan revealed that during the shooting of ‘FAN’ he incurred a knee injury. And because of this injury he had to make use of a duplicate to carry out a few chase sequences in ‘Raees’. He could not run swiftly because of his injury, and hence in few long shots, the makers had to make use of body double. On the same note, SRK also said that he feels a little bad to do so.

When asked about action sequences in Raees he said, “I got very badly injured during the shooting of ‘FAN’. Injured as in my knee has got a problem. My patella is broken. I need to do something about it. It is a big injury so it gets all painful. That’s why the film (Raees) got delayed also. It was difficult to do rooftop chase. Normally running and all, I do it in all my films like I did in ‘FAN’. But in this I have used a bit of duplicate which I really feel bad about. But then I couldn’t help it as we had to finish it and the sets were already there, so that was really painful.”

Directed by Rahul Dholakia, ‘Raees’ is set to make it to the theatres on January 25, 2016. It will also feature Pakistani actress Mahira Khan in the lead role.

Burner, The Disposable Phone Number App, Gets Nomorobo Integration To Block Spam Calls

Burner's latest update adds support from Nomorobo, the spam call blocking service that keeps telemarketers from ruining your dinner.

Within the Burner app, Nomorobo will pre-scan all of the calls that come through to your burner number and automatically filter out any robocalls or telemarketers. It cross references incoming numbers with a massive database of known spam callers that has been compiled with help from the FTC, user reports, and their own spam call honeypots. Burner is the first virtual phone number app to use Nomorobo's technology.

To use the service, you need to have the latest version of Burner on your phone (3.5.1 on iOS and 3.5.4 on Android,) and you have to be a Burner Premium subscriber. Nomorobo turns on automatically once you update your app, so there's nothing else you need to do. 2017 People’s Choice Awards Red Carpet Photos — Fifth Harmony & More

The big day is here! Tons of our favorite stars are gathering at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles for the People’s Choice Awards, and we have all the pics of their arrivals. Check out Jennifer Lopez, Fifth Harmony and many more on the carpet right here!

It’ll be the girl group’s first performance without Camila Cabello, who left the group at the end of 2016, so the world will definitely be watching as they take the stage as a foursome. Here’s how Hrithik Roshan ditched his charm and became the guy-next-door for ‘Kaabil’

He is one of the most good looking men not in India, not even in Asia, but in the goddamn whole world! Hrithik Roshan never had to go any extra miles to impress us with his appearance, because captivating charm and sex appeal are something that he inherently carries.

However, for ‘Kaabil’, he rather needed to look the familiar guy-next-door kind. Hrithik, who plays the character of a visually impaired man, showed no inhibitions in shedding off his usual charisma for getting into the skin of Rohan Bhatnagar.

And god, how he impressed us with his emotional, so-much-in-love avatar! To do the needful, he had to make changes to his diet and put on extra kilos. His stylist in the film also made sure that he looked familiarly simple with the essence of an ordinary life.

“The transformation is not dramatic but extremely significant. Here is an actor subtly but totally surrendering to the part that he is supposed to play. He is supposed to be a regular guy who happens to be visually impaired. More importantly he is completely captivated by the inner beauty of his love interest played by Yami Gautam,” says director Sanjay Gupta.

“What is impressive is the way Hrithik transforms and becomes a guy next door. There is nothing of the physical attractiveness that he is known for”, he adds.

The film also stars Yami Gautam as Hrithik’s love interest and will hit the screens on January 25.

A Photographic Tour through the Galapagos Islands

Travel bucket lists are a very personal thing, but when it comes to travel destinations, there seems to be a few reoccurring favorites that show up on most travelers’ wish lists, such as the Galapagos Islands. About 1,000 kilometers off the coast of Ecuador, this off-the-beaten-path area is known for its amazing wildlife and untouched landscape. Today, guest contributor and travel photographer, Dennis Calhoun, is here to tell us about his recent adventure to this unique destination.

Do you enjoy a challenge? Are you interested in seeing an amazing variety of wildlife? If so, the Galapagos Islands off the coast of Ecuador may be just right for your next exciting travel adventure. Only a few of the fourteen most significant islands in the volcanic archipelago have any inhabitation.

Of course, most people come to this part of the world for the amazing wildlife found on the islands.

Most people who visit these isolated islands start by joining a tour. Most of the tours are via air travel to Quito, Ecuador and then a short flight to a small airfield in Baltra in the Galapagos Islands. The airfield is there because this was once a US Military base during WWII.

Birdwatchers will love the amazing array of pelicans, hawks, and booby birds.

The blue-footed boobies prefer rocky shorelines, so it can be tricky getting a good shot from the bouncy panga.

The boobies are quite popular for bird enthusiasts.

This pink flamingo was hanging out in a lagoon as we passed by.

After your arrival at Baltra, you will be taken to your ship in a small rubber boat, called a panga. Most days you will enjoy two excursions to the islands for photography, swimming, snorkeling or walking. Sometimes kayaking opportunities are available. On one of the islands, iron oxide leaching into the lava sand on the beach gives the sand a distinctive red color.

The rocky shorelines are one reason that the islands have managed to stay in such pristine state.

The island is also known for its magnificient giant tortoises. Thanks to efforts by Ecuador to breed them and release them, they are starting to come back in large numbers.

Thankfully, new laws are in place to protect these beautiful animals.

Many of the landings are wet landings, meaning that you must walk from the small panga to the land in shallow ocean water. This may sound simple, but it can be challenging when the surf is rough and you are trying to protect camera equipment. Sometimes the footing is a bit rough, but the opportunity to see the wildlife up close is worth it.

Although it’s rare to see them, one species of penguins can be found in the Galapagos.

A marine iguana gave us his best tough guy pose.

Although planning a visit to the Galapagos Islands can be a bit daunting, it’s an amazing destination. Plan accordingly and you’ll have an unforgettable experience.

Savannah Chrisley Gushes Over ‘Amazing’ Mystery Man Who Saved Her Life After Crash

Can someone pass the tissue box, please? In her first public post since the car crash, Savannah Chrisley thanks the ‘amazing’ mystery man who saved her life on Jan. 16. While the reality star may never be able to ‘repay’ her hero, she did post this emotional tribute!

Some of us have guardian angels, others have guardian mystery men. An unsung hero who currently remains nameless and faceless jumped to Savannah Chrisley‘s, 19, aid on Jan. 16 after witnessing a horrific car crash. The accident might have taken Savannah’s life it weren’t for the help of this kind stranger. To show her appreciation, Savannah took to Instagram to thank the “amazing man that stopped and helped me as everyone else was passing.” She didn’t manage to catch his name, but she’s forever thankful. “I have no idea who you are but thank you…I could never repay you for your act of kindness.”

As we previously told you, the Chrisley Knows Best star suffered the fright of her life while driving through a rainstorm. Her floor mat got wedged underneath the gas pedal, and when she bent down to fix it, her white, four-door car slammed into a guardrail. Regardless of how fast she was driving, the guardrail collision took out a HUGE chunk of her car, breaking off the headlight and tire area. In that moment, Savannah must have seen her life flash before her eyes!

Thankfully, the reality star is recovering quite well. Her father, Todd, revealed that she’s suffering from several injuries, including a fractured vertebrae and multiple bruises, but NONE of them are permanent! With a lot of rest, Savannah will be back to her normal self in no time — six weeks to be exact. “We have a six-week recovery period and we are all so thankful to the good Lord above for His grace and mercy,” explained Todd to E!. We’re wishing her a healthy and speedy recovery!

Shah Rukh Khan to play magician in Salman Khan’s ‘Tubelight’?

Yesterday, pictures of Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan from the sets of ‘Tubelight’ broke the internet. We earlier heard SRK would be playing a cameo in the Kabir Khan-directorial, and he did not disappoint us after all!

And now, the latest reports suggest that his character is that of a magician. Sounds quite interesting, right?

Adding to our assumptions, SRK has got a cryptic tattoo done on his face. This further fuels rumours that his character will be something intense!

Apparently, the Indo-Chinese war film is inspired by Hollywood flick ‘Little Boy’. In the film, Pepper, a little lad, goes out to look for his dad who goes missing from a war. There, he is told that he can change the course of the war with extreme will power. That is where magic creeps in!

This also marks the Bollywood debut of Chinese actress Zhu Zhu. Also, after years, the Karan-Arjun will share screen space once again, putting an end to their tiff.

Can’t wait already!

Lightroom Rapid Editing PLUS for People

After I completed the development of Lightroom Rapid Editing PLUS for Landscapes and Cityscapes it was time to take care the People Collection

The Lightroom Rapid Editing PLUS concept addresses the shortcoming in Lightroom functionality. Due to the nature of RAW processing, Lightroom does not have one of the most useful functionalities of any editing program, the ability to change Opacity.

In one of my earlier posts, I shared with you my idea how to overcome Lightroom deficiency and hack Opacity functionality.

The concept is simple, for each preset in the People Collection, I created 6 additional versions by generating different opacity versions in 10% increments. I started with 40% because the versions where the opacity range was between 10% and 30% were too subtle to see any effects and produced totally useless results.

The Lightroom Rapid Editing PLUS for People Collection will be a very valuable addition when editing portraits.

Let me explain.

When you edit cityscapes, you can be as aggressive as you want whether that involves changing colors and tones, enhancing the contrast or experimenting with unusual color combinations. The reason for this is because there is no reference point for the person, the viewer, looking at your picture. In most cases, the viewer does not know what the color of the building actually is, which allows you to freely manipulate it.

When you edit landscapes, there are a few more restrictions because the viewer has many reference points. The viewer knows that grass and tree leaves are green so, if you change these to blue, it does not usually work well. However, there is some degree of latitude for creative editing. If you change the color of the grass from green to orange, it might actually work if it looks like fall colors.

When editing portraits, the process becomes even more restrictive. The main reason for that is because of the skin color of your subjects, which becomes the most important reference point for your viewers. The degree at which you can manipulate portraits is much smaller compared to cityscapes and landscapes.

The ability to dial down effect of any preset from People collection will give us unprecedented flexibility when editing portraits.

Let me show you what I mean.

Lightroom Rapid Editing PLUS Workflow for People Photograpy

For the demonstration of the proposed workflow, I purposely selected the photo I took in a broad daylight during my coastal drive in California (Big Sur).

This is a typical outdoor portrait where natural surroundings are much brighter than the person in the foreground.

The goal of the editing to brighten up the face of the model by recovering the shadows and to balance the brightness between foreground and the background.

1

Step 1: Exposure Adjustment

Select the image and evaluate the exposure value. If it needs any adjustment, use the TOOLKIT or the Lightroom Exposure slider in the Basic Panel to set the exposure value to achieve the desired result.

2

Step 2: Style Preset

Open the preset folder PhotoTraces Vol.2 - People PLUS  and start applying the presets to the selected photo. The goal here is to find an interesting look, something you can improve upon later.

I suggest starting with the 100% versions because that is how it was intended to work when the effect was first created.

In my case, I liked the look Happy Morning preset produced but the effect was too strong.

3

Step 3: Setting Up Interface

Open the Navigator window above the Presets panel if it is not already open.

Drag the Lightroom left panel boundary all the way to the right, making it as wide as possible. The goal is to have the biggest possible preview in the Navigator panel.

4

Step 4: Playing With the Opacity

Move the mouse over the Happy Morning preset versions with the various opacity values without clicking on them. By doing this, you can see a real-time preview of the effects in the Navigator window, which will help you identify the editing effect you like the most.

5

Step 5: Standard Rapid Editing

When you see the version you like the best, click on it to apply the effect on the main image.

In this particular case I selected Happy Morning 60% version.

From that point, you can use a combination of TOOLKIT adjustments to fine tune the photo using the standard Lightroom Rapid Editing approach

I applied the following TOOLKIT adjustments:  7. Open Shadow +, 32 Vignetting ++

And here is the Lightroom Rapid Editing Formula: Happy Morning 60% (7, 32)

I created three more versions of the same capture using Rapid Editing PLUS Workflow I outlined earlier.

Under each final photo you can find the Lightroom Rapid Editing formula.

Rapid Editing Formula: Hilltop 60% (9, 12, 32)

Rapid Editing Formula: Outreach 70% (7, 33)
