HTC Bolt, Lava A51, A76+, and Micromax Canvas Spark 4G launched

The smartphone market is always surrounded with new launches. New smartphones such as Lava A51, A76+, and Micromax Canvas Spark 4G have entered in Indian market while the HTC Bolt smartphone is available in the US market as of now. Let’s see what specifications and features these latest mobiles have…


HTC Bolt (USA)


HTC mobiles has collaborated with US carrier, Sprint and unveiled the much-rumored HTC Bolt smartphone in the US market. The newly launched smartphone is exclusively available via Sprint stores and company’s online store. The smartphone is priced at $25 per month for a period of 24 months (installment billing).


This roughly indicates a price of Rs 40,250. However, there is no clarity whether the HTC Bolt smartphone will get launched in India or not. As per several reports, the HTC Bolt may get launched as the HTC 10 Evo smartphone in global markets.


The HTC Bolt sports a 5.5-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) display. Under the hood, there is Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs on latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS.


The HTC Bolt offers a 16MP primary rear camera with OIS, PDAF, and 4K Video recording features. The front camera comprises an 8MP sensor with onboard as well as screen flash support.


Lava A51 and A76+


Lava mobiles introduced two new budget mobiles in the Indian market, called as the Lava A51 and A76+. Among these, the A51 is a budget 3G smartphone which comes at Rs 4,199, while, the A76+ is a 4G capable smartphone which is priced at Rs 5,599. The A51 smartphone is available in gray, white, and gold color options and the A76+ will be offered in white and black color variants.


The Lava A51 smartphone features a 4.5-inch display and is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz coupled with 512MB of RAM. For storage, the smartphone offers an 8GB of internal storage and an external storage up to 32GB is supported via the microSD card.


The Lava A51 offers a 5MP primary rear camera alongside a VGA front-facing camera. The smartphone is powered by a 1750mAh battery. The connectivity options include dual-SIM, 3G, micro USB, Bluetooth, GPS, and Wi-Fi. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.


The Lava A76+ smartphone also comes with a 4.5-inch display. The smartphone is equipped with a quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz coupled with 1GB of RAM. For storage, the device has 8GB internal space and 32GB of external storage via microSD card. The handset runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.


Lava A76+ offers a 5MP rear and front camera with LED flash. The device gets its juice from an 1850mAh battery. For connectivity, the smartphone offers dual-SIM, 4G, Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack, and Wi-Fi.


Micromax Canvas Spark 4G


Micromax mobiles added yet another smartphone in its Spark series, the Canvas Spark 4G. It is the first smartphone from the Spark series to sport the 4G LTE capability.  The smartphone is priced at Rs 4,999.


Coming to specifications, the Canvas Spark 4G features a 5-inch IPS display along with the Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The smartphone is equipped with a 1.3GHz Spreadtrum quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The device supports external storage up to 32GB using the microSD card. The device is backed by a 2000mAh battery. The Micromax Canvas Spark 4G offers a 5MP primary rear camera with a 2MP selfie shooter.
