It is a sad day for Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and her family, as her father Surendra Shetty has passed away.
A source close to the actress informed that Shilpa’s father breathed his last this afternoon on the day of Dussehra. He suffered from cardiac arrest and was rushed to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Andheri where the doctors declared him dead after trying to resuscitate him.
The sad demise of Surendra Shetty has left Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Shamita Shetty, their mother Sunanda Shetty and other family members and friends bereaved. The last rites will be performed tomorrow at Vile Parle.
